In the Fall of 1994, after hunting with a relative and his German Shorthaired Pointer, my husband Richard announced that he would like a GOOD HUNTING DOG. So the search was on. After checking locally and not finding any good puppies available, we started looking at copies of Shorthair Magazine. That is when we saw Trekker, (DC/AFC Trekker V Grunhaum, UDX, TDX, MH, AXJ, MX). We called Dave Deioma and asked if he had bred Trekker to any bitches in our area. He gave us Pete and Lisa Pehur's phone number and after that everthing was just destined to happen.
